Sounds like you're a bit afraid of the all-conquering Kiwis, tbh...
I'd rather face England than NZ in the finals that's for sure.

I just think it'd be pretty funny if NZ were knocked back down to Earth by the ODI side who are better than only Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in the top 10.

To be fair, it would be pretty hilarious (and utterly ridiculous at the same time) if England made the finals ahead of NZ.

Shouldn't happen though, NZ should win this one. England's bowling attacks will be seriously depleted.

TBH i would't be suprised if England won... Ian Bell & Flintoff being the men to take them to victory. Bell did actually look in good touch before playing a stupid shot to get out in Adelaide.

If not, Oram & Vettori will produce the goods as the did last time these 2 teams met

Don't expect anything from Oram. Has scored 5 fifties in a 90 match career. 2 of those fifites have been in the last 2 matches. Law of averages says he won't do amazingly well in this match.

Im sure after the match they would have been delighted for Oram but even Oram was pretty subdued when he reached 100. They were so close to the win.

I think the team were just gutted that they had been able to get so close to the total because it would probably have changed their entire tour.
Though,Oram is basically always subdued when he gets a big score - remember his maiden test hundred when he didn't even remove his helmet.

That implies we're somewhere towards the stratosphere - we're still horribly underperforming in general (with the odd good bit).
Of course you need to improve, every side in this competition does, but I was implying that you're simply on a high after getting so close to Australia in the last match.

If Bell can survive the quicks and reach the middle overs against Vettori, then NZ will face some problems. He's very good at using his feet against the spinners and looks to be in a positive mood.

The pressure to beat England might not help New Zealand. NZ's batting approach will be interesting.

They just came off a close match with Australia so now even more people will be expecting them to beat England. Considering also that England have come off two consecutive low 100 scores.

Or, you know, he could be realising his potential. You seriously think this of a guy who just made his two highest scores in the last two games? He's in form, but he won't do well?
