Lost my Cup Game got smashed by Mahindinhio's mate.
I forgot about that game. He's no mate of mine!

(Well, not unless I beat him in the league, anyway.)

Have six (sports psychologists) myself, from the training times I've seen on JFW there's virtually no difference between six and ten.
Didn't the rules (use to?) say something like this..?

"One sports psych will attend each different type of training session on a particular player. This will improve a player's secondaries."

For instance, a player with 2 batting nets and 1 fielding would have two psychs in attendance - one on the first batting, and one on the fielding.

You therefore needed to have one psych for each unique net, to get the most out of them.

I'm pretty sure it used to be something like that - it wouldn't surprise me if it had changed and I'd not noticed, though.

I think the rules are just poorly worded. AFAIK it has always been the case that sports psychs improve secondaries for all nets other than fitness, regardless of how many you have (the number of sports psychs obviously affecting the rate at which secondaries improve).

A non-CW mate has just also told me that it never worked like I thought (i.e. it's actually as you've just written), so I sit* corrected.

* I still refuse to type while standing.

I've had mine set to 10 all the while...I'm probably not getting the best value out of them, but I'm not bothered - I can afford it, and it's probably doing more good than my poxy youth academy :@

The only thing particularly interesting out of the Q+A was the possibility of changing the cup draw, but it'll depend on who's in the focus group.

Maybe, depends a bit on whether Harewood gets some more bids, he's only up to 3m at the moment. I don't really want to use up all my finances or i'll be losing 200k+ every week. There are a few others I might go for if I miss out anyway.

Finally got something half-decent from a cup game, 54k. Made 299/1 (Cuss 158*, Watkins 66*, Ashton a slow 65), bowled them out for 148 (Watkins 4-23, Baird 3-56). Watkins' averages for this season (when they get updated) are looking nice, 282 @ 282, and 20 wickets @ under 5 apiece.

Next cup match:

Strong Arm Steady
Top Order: strong
Middle Order: competent
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: proficient
Spin Bowling: competent
Fielding: feeble

Should be closer but will be TIE'ing again.
Strong Arm Steady's in my division. Not too difficult to beat.

Anyone else apart from Fuller has a suggestion? Would have been so easy if he was a fast bowler which is what I was going for.:@

Well the obvious thing is to sell one of the spinners. I'd try and train Shoe tho, at least til he pops in something (he's nearly halfway up the wage range - so with one bat & bowl he could take 7 weeks to pop on both, or one could pop in two weeks and the other in 13 weeks or something in between) you don't want to waste some of the sublevels by selling him as is. Guess it all depends on what nets you can spare.
