This is going to be a big 'un, by the looks of things. Nice stuff from Uthappa to get them going.

Out of curiosity, why has Lara sent India in twice on pitches yielding such big totals this series?
Because the West Indies is typically a much better team chasing than defending.

Yeah, Sri Lanka under Ranatunga were stronger at chasing generally, but he'd still often opt to bat first on a belter. Particularly against a batting lineup that's a bit fragile under pressure like India's. But I guess they didn't lose by that much in the first game and they're looking fairly good for this one. Can't help wondering if India's middle-to-late order didn't mess this one up good and proper though.

But look at the composition of the West Indies team. They're batting down to number 9. Add that to the fact that the West Indies almost never wins batting first these days and you've got some pretty solid reasoning for chasing. If the pitch is this flat, it shouldn't much matter when you bat on it.
