Are you a New Zealander Perm?I've always wanted to see Papps open in the ODI's, but the selectors may have trouble trusting him against fast bowlers like Lee given his past. How needs to score consistently to earn himself another chance as far as I'm concerned.
To be fair though, Perm, Clydevale and all the other hellholes up the valley are rife with fresh immigrants from Romania, Sierra Leone, Paraguay and Macau.Location: Clutha Valley, New Zealand
Then why have you got an avatar of Adam Gilchrist? That's downright traitorous and pretty much constitutes treason. I mean c'mon, did you lose a bet?Location: Clutha Valley, New Zealand
He only played in 20/20 matches - which means nothing - and I'm sure he was just nervous. I'm not saying he should be selected at this time but is certainly a good back-up, and McCullum should not get complacent. Griggs is also decent with the bat. He's a talented batsman at domestic level (very creative) but looked out of his depth against Sri Lanka.
Yeah, that's something I've noticed as well and is a major factor in our top order struggles at the moment.Unfortunately, the inability to rotate the strike is something afflicting our top order at the moment as well. It's something I've noticed ever since the Champions Trophy - we seem to have lost that talent to play with soft hands and have the confidence in the partner at the other end to get through for the single. I guess the constant shuffling doesn't help, and neither does the squad rotation.
