Can't fault Akmal's placement

Interesting passage coming up, with Ntini already resting & Pollock surely due for a break soon.

Akmal well and truly riding his luck, but Pakistan are getting the runs.

The good think about Inzy and Yousuf going out is it has made my "Younis to top score for Pakistan in the series" bet look very good. :)

Yeah, the only reason I didn't bet tbh is because I don't like betting against teams I support, or a team I'm passionately supporting for the game. I feel dirty.
Yeah, used to feel that way betting against Hawthorn in Footybet. I had the principle that if we won the game, I was happy to lose the money, while if we lost, I might have a consolation prize. Only did it once or twice though, it was just clearly wrong.

Pakistan still well in this, for mine...

SA out to 3.40, Pak first favourites at 1.30

Love watching the odds change massively in test match chases

All over. Good stuff from Pakistan setting up an exciting third Test. Great knocks from Akmal and Khan as well.

Great win for Pakistan! Awesome stuff and the series is well and truly alive!

Far out, how many times has Akmal come to the party for Pakistan when it really counts? Does it quite often.

Waheyyyyyyyy! Younis is such a gun, the most underrated test cricketer I reckon.

Love watching Akmal bat. Great stuff to from him and Younis to see them home.
When he is on song, he's the best for me to watch after Younis. Anyway, great win for Pakistan and loving Akmal humping Younis after the win. Why wasn't that last boundary counted? They're showing it as two runs on the scorecard when the ball made it all the way to the boundary.

I don't think it counts if the batsmen have already crossed for the winning run.

Yeah he's only played a few good knocks, but almost all of them have at crucial times. No wonder Woolmer wants to hold on to him despite the shoddy keeping.

Definitely. I've always thought he outclassed Yousuf whenever they played together last year.

Younis has 218 runs for the series, Inzy 170 and Yousuf (missed the first test of course) has 50. Anything could happen :)

Anyway, what changes do you reckon SA need to make, if any? Surely they can't rest Ntini or Pollock.

I would probably put Inzy in the most underrated category IMO. He's completely unselfish when it comes to taking credit and all he does is help his team win, even if his captaincy leaves something to be desired.

True, although Inzamam has just as many selfish innings as he has unselfish ones, but overall very much a team player. I have yet to see Younis play a selfish inning to be honest.
