FFS, can't believe **** like ACA is on instead of the cricket.
Yeah, channel 9 should be proud of their scheduling...Humphrey has to be there to fill the children's quota of scheduling and then ACA goes out to the trailer parks.

Nixon having a shocker behind the stumps.....according to radio ffs.

Nice to see he's settling into standard English oneday keeper mode. A blob with the bat and then spends the opening overs watching the wides fly by.

Vaughan must wonder what the hell's going on though. He probably thought all this was a thing of the past when the team sheet didn't include Harmison, Bresnan, Plunkett, Ali or Mahmood, and then his two most reliable bowlers spray it all over the southern hemisphere. But why didn't Anderson open the bowling though?

Nixon is having a shocker. I can only imagine he's been chosen because he's a combative wee fella, because he looks short of quality in both disciplines. Missing regulation takes here.

Wides from someone of Lewis's pace (ha!) are pretty unforgiveable too. At least his dobbers have the merit of not having the pace to go for four.

Ha ha, I'm watching every ball across the ditch. I thought cricket was the national sport and they don't even put it on the telly

Collingwood should definitely be at 6, not 5. He's a reasonable finisher and can dig the team out of a hole, but when it comes down to it you'd much rather see Flintoff bat for 25 overs than Collingwood, which is what you should be considering for someone at 5.

Yes, dead right. Before Pietersen arrived, Fred did actually spend a successful year or two batting at 5 in this form of the game, and Colly did likewise at 6, so I don't really understand their positions today.

Anyone else notice the bowler speeds seemed a bit quicker than normal today? Bracken bowled a couple of deliveries above 140 and quite a number above 135, and McGrath was consistently above 130 in all his spells. Johnson was always in the 142-146 sort of area, which is a bit quicker than he has been in internationals as well.

That sort of thing seems to happen quite a lot with speed cameras. The DLF Cup in September was a fair bit slower than normal.

Yeah, Lewis just pushed one through at 82.8mph, which is electric for him.

Agreed. Who the hell actually cares about ACA anyway? It and Today Tonight are, IMO, the worst shows on TV. And I've watched Big Brother before.
It's putrid garbage. Accordingly, quite a lot of people get their obtain their entire world view from watching it daily.

I cant say i noticed Brackens speeds, Johnson was certainly low-mid 140's through his spells though. Will be interesting to see if the English are quicker too.

Saw Andrew Bolt on it yesterday, giving a typically unbiased view on Sheik al Hilaly. Even hinted at the suggestion of Islam not being allowed in Australia.

Norwood's on Fire
Dire decision for Dalrymple earlier, good batting from KP and Fred though, though I do feel KP needn't have gotten out like that with Fred at the other end.

We'll lose this but I must say, the team sheet doesn't look as bad as it has done in ODIs in recent times

Andrew Bolt...such a quality human being. He's going to be on the John Safran Show on JJJ this Sunday - that should be interesting.

Agreed. That being said, Lewis is looking completely out of his depth against theses guys.

How good was Bracken today? Kept hitting the seam at a good pace and got two early important wickets. And then there were two drops off him. Legendddd.
