The Wheel is Forever
PERFECT Perfect perfect illustration of how to bowl long consistent and probing spells on flat wickets by Pollock. Every bowler can learn from it.
What a guy!

Couldnt disagree more with that. But hey, each to their own. That type of action is most effective by having the ball heavily angled in from around the wicket and then turning away from the right hander. It forces virtually all balls to be played as the angle is bringing everything into the stumps and when the ball turns it 'in theory' should cause problems. It's a combo of him coming wide of the crease and his action. His action would far more suit him coming over the wicket, and landing it in the line of the stumps.
How long have you had that thought for? Since Barry Richards and old Ravi suggested it this morning? It's a combo of him coming wide of the crease and his action. His action would far more suit him coming over the wicket, and landing it in the line of the stumps.

I'd say it was a gem of a day.12 overs left. If we get get to around 260-270 with no furthur loss, thats a pretty good day.
Kumble prefers uneven bounce more than turn...but it can't hurt. Can't wait to see Kumble bowling on this pitch!
Meh, there's always Sehwag .Kumble prefers uneven bounce more than turn...but it can't hurt.
Go for sixes? It is imperative that India don't lose a wicket before stumps. They've taken the new ball, see it off tonight, and life will be easier tomorrow.
Come on Jaffer, come on Sachin, nothing silly.
If our top order batted so good, imagine what our tail will do.
