Very well. Swing, decent pace, canny slower balls. Like he never left really - except less remarkable because he's no longer 17.

tbf you can make the same argument about Asif and Butt
Sure you can. But I haven't made the case that any of their returns tarnishes the sport beyond repair and that it will never be the same again. I always thought that type of reasoning was OTT and hence the reason for my **** post. :)

On his final ball of his last over last night. It occurred to me if he bowls a big no ball all hell will erupt. I watched his front foot closely and his entire foot was behind the line. The same thing had occured to him and I suspect he will not be challenging the popping crease much in the next few years.

Yeah this came up when he started playing domestic games again. He's welllll behind the popping crease every time.

Why don't more bowlers do this more often? With umpires being complete ****wits when it comes to the front foot these days, doesn't it just make sense to not toe the line (or in this case heel the line?) too closely. Doesn't seem like Amir loses anything significant as a result of him pulling back a few inches.

That extra foot is probably 5-10kph by the time it gets to the batsman.

Plus It's only been the last year or so that umpires have become dicks about no-balls. Bowlers are probably just realising that they can't toe the line like they used to.

Another argument that would hold true if people weren't petty self-serving individuals acting under the cloak of morality: "So the unrepentant cheat was kept out of the game and cricket didn't cease to exist? Shocking"

No surprise that Fusion displays the same trait of unrepentance in his reactions to being called out on his ****post. Birds of a feather flock together.

 Exhibit A of the over-the-top faux outrage from the likes of you when it comes to this issue. You've made up crap that Amir's "unrepentant" before as well. I'm sure you'll keep making up more crap as you go along to justify the faux outrage. What a ****.

In any case, my point is that the return of Amir (or even Butt or Asif), would not tarnish the sport beyond repair. To claim that it would is hyperbole and OTT nonsense.
