I am Sorry to say that West Indies will beat this side as they are forced to face Marshall, Ambrose, Garner and Holding at the same time. Lloyd will give a cunning laugh seeing the torture Australia has to go through.

Nah. Openers are better, middle order is at worst equal w/o Bradman and clearly superior with Bradman. Gilly is Gilly. Pace bowling is slightly weaker but Australia has Warne.

Some may disagree but don't see a clear dominant winner among those 3. Australia may have an edge on paper primarily because of Bradman, Warne and Gilchrist but Bradman wouldn't have seen anything close to the onslaught he would be exposed to, of all the top tier ATG bowlers Warne was dominated more than any other and struggled against great players unlike the pacers and Gilchrist would be the wild card.
Any of those 3 squads could win a tri nation competition to be frank.

Well if you’re going to ignore Bradman’s contribution you may as well ignore Headley’s too. And yes yes we get it you don’t think a spinner is important because the Windies were great without one.

Conrad Hunte overseas record is not that great, Gayle on the other hand can be a good handy spinner along with sobers so that we can go with full fledged West Indies Quartet. From gayle expecting a fast 30-35 runs to kick start the innings and it can be taken over by Richards and Lara. Overrating old players and undermining new players is not a sign of wisdom as perceived by some people in the group.
