Trippier's fallen off a cliff somewhat in the second half of this season. Should be taking Livramento ahead of him in all honesty.

None of Henderson, Rashford, Phillips or Sterling being picked could leave the internet almost completely out of targets to whinge about.

I'm sure we'll all adapt swiftly though.

It's asking a lot of Shaw to be playing tournament football off the back of 4 months out injured.

In that context the lack of an alternative left back - even if it's some mid-table jobber who never plays for England again - is a wee bit surprising.

They'll still have Maguire and Pickford to blame for everything, so no worries on that score. Plus the manager, of course.
