Battle of the 4th Innings Knocks

Silver Silva

International Debutant
Kusal Perera
(Historic knock, first Asian test team to win in South Africa )

Ben Stokes
(Miracle knock from an impossible position)

Sunil Gavaskar
(Highest 4th innings score away from home in Test history)

Nathan Astle
(Its the fastest double hundred ever in Test cricket)

Ricky Ponting
(This one was tough as Faf's epic came on Test debut, but he got some luck with Australia being a bowler down, Ponting's knock was just a captains knock in the greatest test series ever against an inspired English attack)

Coronis

Cricketer Of The Year
Mackay/ Kline..... Australia vs West Indies 1960/61 Series in 4th(?) Test... last 2 in and they made the result a draw. Forget how long they batted for but check it out
Really impressive - Worrell set the Aussies a target of 460 with about half an hour left on the 4th day. By the close of play they were 3/31. When McKay came in they were 5/129, Benaud was dismissed soon thereafter and he batted on with Grout, reaching 203 before losing 3 wickets to Worrell in quick succession leaving them at 9/207. Batted for 110 minutes and 283 balls, scoring 66 between them to eke out a draw

Matt Prior vs NZ in 2013 (even though he was bowled and the bails stayed on) was a special match (and series) saving knock.

Also Greenidge's 200 at Lords in 1984 to chase 340 in about 65 overs with 9 wickets left.

Greenidge one was truly amazing. Destructive when on song
