    The England side of late 2010 through to 2012 is the best we’ve had in my time watching cricket. Its only obvious weakness is the lack of an all rounder which is a tad frustrating given the two greats that were in the sides either side of it.

    My tutor/mentor contacted me today. On the ECB pathway my indoor umpiring counts so she’s put me forwards for promotion to Level 5. Four more promotions and I can start doing county cricket. Give it a few years and you’ll all be complaining about my poor decisions at international level

    Annoyingly, Jimmy is on 987 international wickets. Should give him a couple of T20s to help make the 1k more likely IMO
