Description
C Hooper only played a couple of seasons in WCC, but in his prime he was one of the premier all rounders in the game. More noteable with the bat in his time with Yorkshire he also took quite a few wickets bowling spin. His excellent batting performances are evident in the fact he averaged very highly in each form, it was a shame for him his last First game finished with him scoring a duck and 26 against South Australia in the final round in season 3. An important 118 scored in round 7 of that season season against Surrey was his finest performance, sharing in a 158 run partnership with W Tendulkar it helped to lift Yorkshire to 2nd in the table.
