Description
Lara's career was very up and down, in the early season's he was the dominant batsman in both forms of the game, but more paticularly in First Class. He was controversally traded to NSW by Kent manager Richard Twyman after season one and was an invaluable member of the Blues team in the following seasons, his 1663 runs in the following two seasons saw him regarded as the top batsman in the game, however he managed just one century and three fifties in the following two seasons and he retired with a career average of 49.21. His one day career was disappointing in many ways, after scoring just 1 century in five seasons its fair to say he didnt fullfil his potential in the short version of the game.
