A Flower was the premier wicketkeeper in his time in World Club Cricket. A veteran of four different clubs he played his best cricket in season 4 with South Australia as he fell just short of 1000 runs. Averaging over 60 that season his career best score of 208* came in a big 9 wicket win over rivals New South Wales, he never really reached the heights of the previous season when he went to Tasmania, although he did hit two centuries for them many say he went on one season too long. His best one day criket came in season 1 for Somerset, averaging over 40 he put together a hundred and four fifties.
