Zimbabwe 'A' v Australia 'A' v South Africa 'A'

Not really.... except me of course
I think people really should look at Hughes' domestic record before they start panning his technique (or the lack of), for a 21 year old he already has a tremendous record and for him to come into his own at the international level the selectors would need to show some patience with him.

Giving him ODI and T20I opportunities is also something that is gonna help him grow as an international cricketer, he is a special talent and if Australian cricket losses him because of poor management then it would be a real tragedy.

As for this series, its great to see Dave Warner somewhat breaking free from his T20 specialist tag. Warner-Hughes opening combination has great potential AFAIC and I guess the selectors too see it that way.

Great also to see Lyon do well but still to consider him for the test side would be taking things a bit too far, most of his success has come with the white ball and but to earn the baggy green he first has to put up some good performances at the FC level.

Australia's best test spinning options atm are SOK and Hauritz and that's why its nothing short of shocking that SOK isn't even in the Australian 'A' 4-day side.

That looks like a pretty good Aussie A top order:

1. Hughes
2. Warner
3. Khawaja
4. Ferguson

Marsh and Paine at 5 & 6 both looking a position too high....

....and then a bloody long tail

7. Kreiza
8. Siddle
9. Copeland
10. Hilfenhaus
11. Beer

Don't know what Zimbabwean batsmen are trying to do, all they seem to doing is dead-batting all the seamers.

Don't know why we bothered to have FC matches if they have 90 over limits on each innings. jesus christ.

They are going quite slow given that it's 90-over-a-side match. But it's good they are steady & haven't lost a wicket.
And why the hell it is 90-over per innings?? Would someone tell me??

23 from 142 balls (SR 16.19)....
52 from 133 balls (SR 40.00)....

Don't get the slowness (0-89 off 45 overs), especially if 90 over maximum innings

206/6 at stumps in 93 overs. So,it wasn't 90 over affair.Probably it was one day for each of the four innings.Wonder if Aus A will start batting tomorrow or Zim XI will continue.

Surely it wouldn't be a proper first class match if it was limited overs? And it is affecting what happens with the live averages.

Oh **** Krejza actually taking some wickets for a change. I was for sure he was out of the contest after the first match.
