Haha not really. Sanga chose to bat first knowing there'd be a risk of it.

In fact Sanga had two opportunities to decide if he wanted to bat first

Love the dew factor when it exists. Balances out the many advantages of batting first.

Today, in the India innings - spinners were able to get turn for most of the innings. Though at the death, perhaps after the ball change - Randiv etc would furiously towel off the ball - presumably thats when dew was tangible.

The dew was certainly one of the things that tipped over a mighty close match our way (not complaining). Playing at home was a big advantage in this WC (provided we could handle the pressure), this was the window of opportunity, and I'm pleased we grabbed it. Don't think we'd have come close to chasing down that total on a Sri Lankan ground.
