Your last game of B.C

The Foxtrot

U19 12th Man
James90 and i went at it again in on of our notroious games.
This time we changed the format, 10 wickets, 20 overs basically, instead of 3 wickets and 5 overs.
James90 made 124 off 17.5 overs and i made 119 off 18.2 overs

PS had to bat last four wickets left handed, making the game alot more interesting.

my last game of backyard cricket (our back yard is hamer park in mt lawley) was Me,mum,2 of my mates vs my step dad and his three sons. my step dad is from Hull in england since it was the ashes we decided to have a game to settle it in the family. i lossed the toss and my eldest step brother elected to bat. he usally stays with us and becuase oif that we are like brothers more than step. this is bad becuase he treats me like one that includs him being 22 and me being 18 he wants to dominate by smashing the balls at me. he ended on 30 when my mate bowled him. i bowled my step dad for a duck but mum not being very good had runs scored off her each ball we finiched trailing by 70 our innings went great i got my revenge on my oldest step brother by belting hime twice with the ball before being caught on 31 then mum went for a duck and my mated put on 40 between them

Unable to produce my weekend heroics, I was stumped when I was on 4, and only managed a couple overs in an hours session in snow.

Batted three times today, made 4, 48 and a golden. Bowled a bit rubbish and fielded even worse. Nice day nonetheless. :)

Solihull Garden Cricket- 2007 Season

Last week saw the start of the garden cricket season in solihull. Solihull A's played their first game end in a Chris "Collingwood" Silman victory, who scored 48 and took 7 wickets. Due to the fact that he had to attaend his cousin's wedding, favourite Oli Parry was unable to play and had to fly home. Giles "Flintoff" Ellison took 6 wickets and finished third on 12 runs after foolishly hitting the ball over the fence on a number of occasions, resulting in the loss of six runs. Josh Bowen made is first and probably last performance at the Whitefields but proved himself to be b***ocks, and he cannot throw properly, which didn't help. Simon barsoum had a disappointing start to the season scoring only 10 runs, resulting in a 4th place finish. Mike Silman had a stedy first game and finished 2nd on 40 runs.

The next game takes place tomorrow on April 27th 2007 at the Whitefields at 1700 hours GMT.

A fixture has also been arranged against the Solihull B's for Friday May 4th at 1700 hours GMT. Tickets will be priced at £1.50 with pool side use at £1 extra. A bar will be provided.

last game of bc (we play down down a length of garages)

Today was a great day in my garage cricket career. Not only did i beat my highest score but i scored the highest score ever as well as scoring the most 6's in an innings. I scored 38, this featured 5 massive 6's and 2 4's. This score may sound low but our form of garage cricket is quite similiar to playing real cricket, or playing in the nets. Bowlers ball very fast and the ground is very uneven, creating exciting varied bounce and seam. My favourite shot of my innings was a beautiful straight drive over the bowlers head, landing many yards over the boundary. I dont like cricket, I love it!
