i am a handy lower middle batsman (can bat from seven to ten, technically seven to eleven but eleven sucks) and am a decent bowler, have got that whole part time gets wickets factor. good fielder. reverse sweeps are easy when you practice them if you keep them down.

I've always though that the last sentence was intended as a compliment to my Dad, but he didn't take it that way, I remember his chuntering on about it to this day. Unfortunately it didn't change his idea of coaching though, which was sitting with me in front of the TV talking about what was going on in Test matches - I think he realised when I was a toddler that the hand/eye co-ordination was never going to be there and sadly he was proved right

bowling order: to be avoided unless trolling, so in other words i got far more overs than i was worth
general overview: terrible, but shows up for practices and games

bowling order: either i'm the specialist (read: only) spinner in the XI, or I'm not bowling
general overview: generally just picked as a specialist fielder

general overview: I get picked because I really want to play. As of my fifth season of playing serious (school/club) cricket, I have made just 2 meaningful contributions to a game of cricket. Long and short of it, I'm not very good.

batting style: Hit or out. Never boring. Amazing career strike rate. Poor average.
batting order: Lower middle order but promoted myself to opener a couple of times when captain
favourite shot(s): The heave over long on. Hit most of my sixes like that. And off-drives, but more down mid-off rather than cover. Oh, and I really enjoyed running the ball down to third man. Felt I was a batting genius as I glanced it.
bowling style: Right arm medium. Often enjoyed bowling around the wicket. Can be decently economical. Got an LBW off a yorker the last time I bowled (2 months ago). Enjoyed that. What I didn't enjoy was getting hooked to the boundary a few times by a guy who had played Ranji cricket.
bowling order: 4th or 5th
general overview: Passion >>>> Ability. Can hit a mean six and a tight over. Also captained my college team and did a fairly decent job. Used to a bad catcher but have improved. And I celebrate my side taking a wicket like we won the World Cup.

bowling style: previously right arm medium, now right arm slooooooow
bowling order: Used to be first change, more recently have been the guy to turn to when no one else is getting wickets for the bizarre variety of slow balls, moon balls and the exceedingly rare quicker ball
general overview: I've played, but I'm on the downhill slope towards the inevitable scattering of my ashes.

Was reasonably quick when younger and could swing it ok. Just a lower grade trundler really.

Became a keeper after I broke my leg a few seasons ago. Actually love keeping and I wish i'd done it since juniors.

Happy enough opening the batting and prefer it to sitting around waiting. Decent pull shot and lofted on-drive, but that's about it.

Rhb used to open but now middle order,used to have decent power but now more a touch player..snapped knee ligaments four years ago and never really recovered but still vertical so hey Ho..

Bowl a gentle medium which is more about accuracy than any pace and usually used to get in four or five tight overs with the occasional wicket..

Am the vc of the second team but firmly believe that's down to ability to man manage rather than ability..every year is "my last season" nowadays..just love the game too much to give up until I absolutely have to and still scoring in thirds so don't want to retire there to coast..

bowling order: Fill in overs, hoping to get them out with junk
general overview: Style was not great but banked on my eye. the Year is 1991, before Sri Lanka revolutionised opening the ODI with quick runs. My captain cottoned on to this first and contemplated me scoring 100 of 20 overs, if only I could last. I never got there, but three times passed 70 in quick time (all chasing) and we won all those games. Curoiusly, Aravinda De-Silva played for our club in 1990. I choose to believe word got through to him about our tactic.

Haven't really played all that much cricket. We never had it in school, and so far in my adult life I haven't really had the chance to play.

I'll just assume I turn it like Warne and slog it like ABDV.

bowling style: medium pace ..can bowl good yorkers

general overview: Consider myself a bowler first, Stamina is an issue, Good at running between the wickets , Good outfielder because of my speed but can miss catches, when it comes to batting i have a problem with concentration, sometimes not watch the ball closely as well as i would like to, have to keep reminding myself ..such a key thing , makes a huge difference...

bowling style: I'm 6'7" so effectively a troll bowler. Just put it on a length at medium fast and wait for the inevitable nick/top edge

general overview: I'm basically Morne Morkel. I've even been told I look like him.

general overview: I was good at swinging the bat at anything outside off, I liked it full. Couldn't really work balls onto the onside very well, unless I was facing a spinner then I enjoyed the slog sweep. Instinctively blocked short balls instead of attempting to pull them, wasn't great against against extreme pace but opened coz nobody else wanted to do it. Was a good off spinner, once took 50 wickets in a season @ 5 - managed to represent the city of Newcastle in U'21s, was sad to find so many players were so much better than me as I found club level easy
