Well there was nothing about international or international-standard teams...

Obviously NZ has changed because the player is no longer a current one... guess my fave Kiwi currently established in the team is almost certainly Jacob Oram. Also like Southee and, barring injury, his time should definately come, and probably soon. Aaron Redmond, given I have some memory of him as an 18-year-old when I was a little boy of 12, would be if I thought he was ever likely to get another chance.

For WI it might still be Bravo or it might be Chanderpaul these days, though I don't know why as I liked him since long before a year ago.

Gone off Cook and Bell at the moment and my current favourite is definately Strauss. Huge admiration for the way he's rebuilt his career and he's always obviously been a good fella.

Not really sure if I have a favourite Bangladesh or Kenya player these days, my favourite Yorkshire player currently is probably Andrew Gale just because he writes for CW and did pretty well last season, and those from Australia, India, Pakistan, South Africa (obviously) and Sri Lanka haven't changed, though it's fair to say that Haddin's pretty sharp on Clark's heels these days.

Obviously plenty of retired players up there - just made a list of my favorite players among all of those whom I have watched play international cricket.

I'd say Tendulkar and Jayasuriya are my two favorite cricketers over all. Absolute joy to watch.
