I don't envy those from NZ trying to come up with their worst XI when they have so many to choose from. They really are spoilt for choice here!

Not read the whole thread but would struggle to disagree with Howe's side other than I'd bring Ian Blackwell in for Ansari and Darren Pattinson for Mahmood

TBH the latter didn't exactly disgrace himself but had no business being there

4) OA Shah (Pak)
5) EJG Morgan (Ire)
6) C White (Aus)
7) GO Jones+ (PNG/Aus)
8) CJ Jordan (WI)
9) DJ Pattinson (Aus)
10) WB Rankin (Ire)
11) A Khan (Den)

Maybe stretching a point with Owais as he grew up here, but he could be replaced with Tim Ambrose as a specialist bat.

Surprised that Franklin's bowling average was that low. Thought it'd be higher.

They showed a package of his keeping titled "Poor Parthiv" on the big screen and Ganguly saw that and turned away from Parthiv in disgust on the field.

There was a period where he had the 3rd or 4th best SR in history. His bowling pre-2006 injury was so vastly different from what turned up later in his career it's not funny. Could hit 140 and swing the ball significantly.

Edit: I was way off, and thinking about Shane Bond. IIRC someone posted a filtered list for x wickets taken at a certain point and Franklin was surprisingly high. So - non-striker leaves his crease in attempt to get a head start on a possible run, bowler runs him out - people are outraged by this.
Injured batsman instinctively sets off for a run, collapses due to injury, Gilchrist "gleefully" runs him out - yeah, that's fine.

I'll never understand the "rules" of "sportsmanship".
