That side is too weak at number 8, and I'd personally not play Butcher at 6. I say put Flintoff there, but tell him he has to become more responsible - he's just about worthy of a place as a 4th seamer (3rd on a good day), and if he can prove himself worth a place as a number 6 then we have key slot filled.

Also Gough is not a better batsman than Giles, although Giles needs to do a lot of work on his batting as a Test average of 12 or sommit is appauling for someone of his batting ability.
