His performance is better than Bumrah against top 5 teams in away condition and he is also ahead of Bumrah in ICC tournaments and ICC knockouts against top 5 teams (ind , aus ,pak ,sa , NZ , Eng).
Stop torturing stats, Hazlewood is not even comparable to Bumrah in ODIs. He unironically is closer to Agarkar than Bumrah.

Although Hazlewood is more of a wicket taker, Bumrah's performance is a bit better imo, especially in the period both bowlers have played. Bumrah bowls primarily the toughest overs in the pp and death and still manages a better economy, although Hazlewood has the better avg and WPM.
Anyway, Bond and Shami are better though than Hazlewood. Both have 2 of the greatest WC records ever and are the 2 greatest strike bowlers in ODI history (alongside Starc and Waqar).
Also what is this away filter in ODIs? This is not test cricket.

Well bumrah averages 30+ against top teams in away condition, 32+ in ICC tournaments against top teams and Around 37/38 in ICC knockouts With 5+ economy.
He is not that good in ODIs as the people of this sub are rating him.
Hazlewood also has similar economy.
And only Hazlewood raw stats looks bad but overall both are pretty close.

Bumrah didn't have to Bowl against India (the best batting team of this era), which has 3 ATG batsman ( Kohli, rohit, dhoni) and many great ODI batsman like Dhawan, klr , iyer.
And bumrah didn't faced great batsman like sangakara, baz , abd (only few matches) .

You are right for once that the difference between them isn't the same as their raw stats, it's way bigger. Comparing Hazlewood and Bumrah in ODIs is some deep Reddit ****.

He has played a total of 4 icc kos against the teams you are mentioning. Like wtf is this sample size, surely you can't be serious lol.

Hazlewood also played only 5-6 icc ODIs knockouts and yet he helped aus to win 15 and 23 WC with 3.8 economy.
In 15 semi , he took the most important opening wicket of Shikhar Dhawan and even after so many catches dropped during his bowling, most of the ind batters struggled against him.
Hazlewood 23 semi spell is laterally the best knockout spell in last 15-20 years.

Yk after 2023 Final I heard that some people in Twitter argued that Travis Head was better than Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers....... I know get what kind of people they were.

I'd put Bond, Bumrah, Lee, Bracken, Boult, Malinga, Shami, and Henry all ahead of Hazlewood
