Women's football stuff that doesn't deserve its own thread

All kicked off at the end of the women's League Cup final yesterday between the two coaches.

Bit of handbags really. Eidevall goes to shake Hayes hand then she pushes him away and ironically gives an interview afterwards saying male aggression shouldn't be tolerated.

He got booked for coming out of his technical area and shouting at a Chelsea player late in the game as she tried to take a quick throw in with a ball that wasn't the match ball. He says that before the match, Chelsea had insisted on playing with just one ball, not multiple (I didn't realise this was a choice) so he was preventing them from using the second ball to save time as they chased an equaliser.

Emma Hayes going from winning the quadrupole to potentially nothing in the 3 weeks since she embarrassed herself after losing to arsenal is hilarious

Always good to see women get their comeuppance eh eh eh eh.

Anyways, moving on, that second yellow for Buchanan was questionable at best and downright incompetent at worst.

****ing horrendous management from Taylor in the second half. His only sub Angeldahl dropping a 0/10 while Catley, Foord and Blackstenius come on and completely change the game while Taylor sits in the stands. Absolute bellend.

Looks like Hayes might get the title instead now - win the last 2 games and it should be Chelsea's.

Saw a bit of the England Ireland match tonight, which was pretty dire stuff. The Irish **** up that led to England's penalty and second goal will likely appear on some social media compilations from accounts set up to mock women's sports.

I watched it too. I’m not sure how a game that should’ve been about 5-0 ended 2-1 and required a shocker for the winner.

Haven't watched tonight's game but England drew to qualify. Doesn't sound like a convincing performance. Somehow Ireland beat France, but guess the latter weren't that bothered as already through.

I watched the second half after getting back from work. Unconvincing is definitely the word. Several players in defence and midfield were rather nervy to say the least. They just about figured out how to see out the last 10 minutes though with a little more aplomb.

I watched most of it, it was utterly dire stuff. This team is a long way from the one which made a World Cup Final, not sure what’s happened. It’s almost like Southgate has taken over the tactics!!

France played their reserves in Ireland.
