where is the outrage for Hampshire blocking Wheal who hasn’t played for them this year so far from playing in world cup qualifiers? or is the outrage only reserved for t20s or when something related to Indians is involved? :huh:

Even outrage is expensive in the current inflationary environment. Cricket Scotland cannot even afford to get outraged, much less pay their players as much as they can get in county cricket.
More seriously, for the players it is a question of who their chief employer is. For the outside observer the question is one of perceived status between cricket formats. That a player would prefer to play T20 rather than a test match upsets the established and perceived order of things and it seems that the world is being turned upside down. By the same standard, an ODI for an associate nation is ranks lower in the firmament than county cricket.
