But he is not wrong in saying that the scheduling could have been done better to reduce the travel for multiple nations after it was known that India will play only in Dubai.

Look, as long as its a reality that India wont travel to Pakistan, which means Pakistan will also not travel to India, the only logical thing to do is to ensure any tournament that is hosted by Pak or India has a co-host and games are scheduled in such a way that teams get the best possible time to travel and prepare.

That doesn't have an asterisk, that one's properly null and void.

The 2024 T20 has a small asterisk with India choosing their semi final location.
