lol why? he has an astounding record
He only has a bulletproof record against Pakistan. Iffy away to India, SA, Eng, WI. Iffy at home to Australia and New Zealand. I think he is an ATG though. I'm not as strict as Subs.

A rigorous in-depth analysis of Kumar Sangakara's stats*

Is Sangakara the most fortunate 'ATG' player going around?

Some big him up for his average in Australia of 60ish. But come on! Two of those games were in Cairns or Darwin. That's like a home ground for him, and an away game for Aussies. The only time he had to face our good bowling attack was at those 'away' grounds. Three of them were against the likes of misfiring Johnson (the one England teased with a song), and the guys we all thought were going to be great, until they played and got dropped as big disappointments, Hilfenhaus and Bird. In Australia he caught them during the big lull. Lucky Bastard.
Overall, including at home, against Australia, he only averages 40odd. Still only the single century 192. Big deal! Every batsman scores a hundred at sometime.

He played Bangladesh more than he played Australia. Feasted out

He played Zimbabwe as many times as he played in Australia. Feasted out

He played against the West Indies during their worst ever period. WAC

He was pretty **** against England. lol

He was OK against India, but **** IN india. Pretender!

He played Pakistan after all their good bowlers left and feasted on their big lull. WAC. Imran, Waqar and Wasim must think, if only! Seriously - go and look at his 100s against them and who the **** are these bowlers? Only one game against Waqar (broken and old) and shoaib (probably peak dick warts). Lucky Bastard!

Beat up New Zealand when they were beatupable. After Hadlee, but before their WTC test ability. Fortunate.

Also copped a lot of South Africa in transition, between the Donald Pollock days and before Steyn and stuff became a force. Fair enough, they did not go full shitness, but in SA he was piss weak. It's only at home he makes himself somewhat passable. Found Out!

I think he must be the most fortunate of players to have a stats bump - played in the best ever batting era against pretty much all the teams in bowling transition.

I think Prince Ewes and Days of Grace really need to build into their adjusted averages more penalties for being a wanker and scoring wanker runs against **** bowling attacks. I don't value anything of his stats.

If that is not enough to prove my case. Have a look at this photo.

I'm confused as to why all of these comments are subject to Himannv's approval four times?

Crap analysis. Everyone talks about Sangakkara the batsman not the wicketkeeper. (Even though by wk standards he was right there as a bat too) So if you want to **** how horrible his batting is. Do everyone a favour an break those venue/opposition stats down when he isnt wearing the gloves.

And if youre gonna say weak attack this that, then every batsman should’ve been able to command the stats he had w/o gloves.

Not really, because all the other real batsman did not play minnows for 20 odd games. That is huge!

Anyways, if you are not a stats man, the picture tells a thousand words. I mean, who the **** points like that except a douche.

A more interesting challenge would be to name the top 10 cricketers of an Asian background who don't play for an Asian team.

Chee Quee surely number 1.
13 years too late, but:

Ranjitsinhji
Duleepsinhji
Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Rohan Kanhai
Sonny Ramadhin
Usman Khawaja
Alvin Kallicharan
Keshav Maharaj
Hashim Amla
Nasser Hussain

Honourable mentions:

Stuart Clark

Bit of a stretch to call him an ATG but good analysis otherwise.

Why have you completely ignored his high wanker rating?

Also, weren’t you banned? How did you get back in?
