Only 2 of you guys have been around long enough to remember the oodles of threads like this we've had in the past. And I'd back old Volty to have taken no notice of them, either.

Which still leaves me. And I'm sure you'll know by now that I rarely side against you in these matters - but there is a clear difference between this thread and the numerous blatent Richard-bashing thread we've had in the past.

And given the amount of bashing I've received over something that is the fault of some other idiot, can you seriously blame me for being paranoid at this current time?

I don't think I've seen anyone bash you over it outside the confines of when you've mentioned him though. Put the paranoia away, calm down about BLE and get back to posting about cricket. If you see BLE, post the pic and report the member - if people whinge and complain about you doing so, just ignore them and move on to the next cricket thread. It's only become an issue because you let it become one.

OK, fair noof, maybe I misinterpreted this thread, but if you believe it (and I'd forgive you for not doing) I have logged-in this morning having dreamt about a thread like this accompanied by one entitled "EXD... **** me you're a **** etc." along with 50 accusations of dual-accounts directed at me

Bit silly on my part? Maybe. But that's how these weird coincidences sometimes make you feel.

No. I feel very victimised by this whole saga, TBH - I feel I've been heaped with a load of blame for something that is completely the fault of another **** whose sole aim is to dire-up these forums, and that much of that blame comes from opportunists waiting for the chance to jump on me for something. And it is nice to know that someone else, especially one who's acknowledged as one of the most scupulously fair-minded on the place, feels something similar.

If you think that's melodramatic, that's up to you, but that's the way I feel about it.

I don't get it though. People disagree with the way you go on about it in this instance and you feel victimised? Granted Brumby seems like he's out to get you, but as for the others, they don't like your invigilence of the BLE accounts and the extents you go to and have every right to voice their frustration. They disagreeing with your style is hardly an attack on you on an insult on your charachter. It's not that far-fetched that constantly bring up a troll might annoy people and if you care about things like that then you should stop. I do get the feeling that you get unfairly targeted sometimes because of your prolific nature, but in this case, people are just generally annoyed with outings. It's hardly everyone out to get you and saying such things is poor form. Concede the point even if you don't understand it, as I said I don't care, but I acknowledge other people do and would try and considerate on their behalf.

Furthermore the pic was mine originally and I feel gimpy for creating this whole mess, to an extent.

To be honest though, I get the feeling they wouldn't care so much if it was another member's "gimick" and not Richard. I don't recall anyone complaining when others posted the pic.

Richard has carried on about BLE in enough threads really, but I don't see any harm in him posting the pic and moving on. And neither do you, judging from your reply - but I don't feel it's anyone's right to whinge and complain about it ITBT as I'd be highly surprised if they were so ridiculously annoyed by one post every new account (which actually does the forum a service IMO by posting out the account.)

Richard's arguing in several threads about BLE is a bit OTT, however that is brought on only by people who whinge about the fact that he posts a picture when he spots him - which Richard has himself decided to limit to one per account.

If any other member did the same amount of outings that Richard did, I'm confident they'd recieve the same reactions from the same people, besides BB maybe. The others posted it once or twice and that was it.

If Richard is going to make threads on it and post the pic, he opens himself up to the sort of criticism that we've seen recently. They have the same right to be critical as he has to post it (well not anymore as per James instructions). And I don't see why the criticism should be tantamount to a personal attack on his character which seems to be the case as he is getting quite offended by the whole ordeal.

It's simple, people don't like it, so if he cares what people think, which he obviously does from his reactons, he should stop regardless of whether he (or I) agree with them. If he doesn't give a ****, then continue by all means.

Oh, I'll retire the pic now, no doubts, as per The Boss' suggestion. It was fun while it lasted, though - don't you feel too bad about that. Sure Martyn and PF would say the same. And don't feel you created the mess - as I say, there's one person and only one person to blame, and that's SW\BLE.

As to people being annoyed, it's completely fair enough in some cases (Dasa, Perm, Collins) because they've not had long-term grudges against me. In some cases, though (*The Certain Someone*, Marc, grecian, DB to an extent and only to an extent) it's patently just opportunism to jump on the bandwagon. That's what gives me the feeling of victimisation - those with legitimate gripes on an isolated matter (Perm, Dasa, Collins) have in fact merely created a vehicle for those others to ferry merrily onwards.

I'll try to do the whole exposing-SW\BLE a bit more quietly from now on, especially now the pic is retired.

As a general rule, if you find yourself having those kind of dreams, it might be an idea to give yourself a couple of days away from the site.

There's no problem with posting "BLE" imo and I doubt anyone else has a problem with that either. I'd certainly call it if I saw it. It's when it goes further than that obviously.
