Who should be next indian test captain?

As rohit is all but gone who do you think should be next test captain of india. Bumarh is obvious choice but he is fast bowler and might be rested in unhelpful indian pitches. Pant is another but is reckless and unproven as far as captaincy is concerned . Who else gill? Or klr

KL might be a very defensive captain.
Gill can be a bit selfish as he's following the Sachin path.
Pant is just not mature enough to lead the test team.

The only real option rn is Bumrah.

But the problem is bumrah is bound to be managed carefully and is to be rested esp @ home so it reqiures good vice captain who can stand in when boom is unavailable. Imo we should make bumrah captain and pant vc till couple of years gill or sai sudharsan or any youngstar replacing rohit and virat settle and make spot their own then can hand over captaincy to them

One good advantage of Bumrah being captain in tests is that hopefully selectors will look to rest him in LO and make him play all the tests now.

so hard when you’re not sure who’s spot in the top order is solid but jaiswal is really the only one who you can say is locked in

Good thing about bumarh is that he is attacking and proactive captain rather then defensive and reactive captain rohit is

I have a feeling they are gonna make the MI trio as captains in the 3 different formats but somehow find a way to get Gill in there as vice-captain in all 3.
