For me that's not an essential part of the game.

If the commentators were really winding me up (which does happen very occasionally) I'd just mute the thing and do without the clunks and thuds.

That would seriously affect my enjoyment of the game. I have ears for a reason (no offence to anyone who may be deaf or hearing impaired)

I noticed.
 Richard dawg, slow down you've been everywhere today, posting as much relevant posts as irrelevant ones :p. Calm down there, either you've lost it or really want to catch up to Marc :p.

Were you always like this, asking cause' I didn't know you since you've made your "return".

You haven't noticed that this is the way I always am?:bored::confused::unsure:
Haha, since you've made your "return", I knew you posted a lot, but this much I am seeing for the first time...

Anyways, I say we start a Union/Society for Acceptable Trolls... Trolls/Semi Trolls who have successfully managed to stay put on CW and contribute along with trolling at times .

It's clearly Ian Healy. Anyone who speaks English & has even a vague appreciation for cricket can't seriously hold any other opinion. He offers literally nothing in the way of analysis, which I could take if he was amiable and/or excitable like other "cheerleader" style commentators like Lawry or Bumble, but he offers his drivel up in a sarky, self-satisfied way. Come on mate, there's plenty of us would give our right arms to be in your position. At least try to sound like you occasionally enjoy the sport!

I was always the same in my other 5 times here. I was never accused of trolling or semi-trolling then. :(

Only those in OT and the Camel56\Shane Warne types troll IMO.

No no I never said you were trolling/semi-trolling you've misunderstood me... :). Nvm this discussion, it was just a little joke, I was commenting more on myself than you.

Before this summer, I would have said Chappell with some confidence. However he does at least try to analyse the game and suggest different tactics, even if I disgaree with most of it.

Healy is by far the worst IMO - all he does is barrack (literally) for the Australian players. "Don't get out now Matt! Not on 80" - horrible stuff.

Many would argue Mark Taylor.
& they'd all be wrong. Taylor at least attempts some level of analysis; on the occasions I've heard him he's particularly good on field placings. I'm not a massive fan of his voice, in all honesty, but he's clearly a cut above Healy.

Healy, then Lawry & Greig

Tubby is getting better imo, despite the fact that he has one of the worst voices for Commentating, he offers some decent analysis from a former captains persepective, particularly on field placings.
