Who is the most intelligent bowler of all time?

International Captain
Marshall, Steyn, smaller in size ATG bowlers.

Also any ATG spinners, so Murali, Warne. Ashwin will of course always remind you of the size of his big brain.

I think Glenn McGrath and Richard Hadlee because they didn't need extreme pace
McGrath still had that uneasy bounce because of his height and arm length which is a more intrinsic physical attribute than pace. Not saying he wasn't a genius of course, but I don't think he had to overcome physical limitations as much as some others, just used what he had perfectly.

Which bowler showed the most tactical nous in defeating batsmen?
For as many magic balls as he bowled, I've not seen another bowler psych as many batsmen out by just bowling normal deliveries as Warne did. Just amazing mindgames.

If I could pick one bowler to be micd up his entire career, it'd definitely be Warne. That little glimpse we got into his brain for that McCullum wicket in the bbl was glorious.

Yeah the Warne mindwarp was something else.

This was a classic to McMillan. Only Warne could do that with a harmless delivery outside leg.

Still think learning standard flipper is a waste of time, when you can use carrom ball grip to bowl back spinners.
Especially if you can spin it using the fourth finger. I used to bowl it, and some times when the conditions are good, snakes in as an in swinger. It is many times easy to bowl the carom ball using 4th finger rather than middle one.
