Jason Gillespie :O :O

Are you taking the mickey, djsj?
Could say the same about Giles - his performances in England have been consistent, but the conditions haven't helped.

By the same token, the like of Harbajan should be in, as they're poor in non-helpful conditions.

Brett Lee, inconsistent?
Are you totally insane?
Brett Lee is very consistent - consistently very poor.
halsey has already said this - but I cannot let it go by without adding this.
For inconsistency it's impossible to look past Chaminda Vaas. Inconsistent does not mean poor most or all of the time, it means brilliant one minute, abysmal the next.
Chaminda averages 16 one series and 100 the next. It's incredible that someone as talented as him can be so spectacularly inconsistent.

From a test perspective, you are correct, but even in 2003 he has produced (a few) sterling performances in the shorter version of the game.

So - rubbish in tests, good in some ODI's. The topic starter didn't specify which, therefore inconsistent sums Brett up quite nicely.

definately jason gillsepie

wtf? seriously wat kind of stupid poll is this? the list is useless in that it has 3 decently consistent bowlers and one inconsistent one......obviously u dislike bret lee and ur trying 2 get every1 to vote him as the most inconsistent

sorry mate, but i have to say Ajit Agarkar is the most inconsistent bowler in the world...this mantle was previously held by makhaya ntini, but he has now proved to be fairly consistent... agarkar on his day can take 6 wickets easily...but when he's not playing his best, he gets clubbed for 90 runs of 10 overs....i think with agarkar,it all depneds on the conditions..if the ball is swinging and seaming,he's good...otherwise he gets clubbed

Gillespie? Please tell me you're joking.

He's arguably the best pace bowler today and even when his team is being slogged around the park he some how manages to take wickets and bowl extremely tight. He's a class act when it comes to bowling.

One can't leave out Mohammed Sami. If you have seen this seires between NZ and Pakistan, you would agree.

I actually interpreted inconsistent as meaning a bowler who sprays the ball over the place, as opposed to one who has followed brilliance with mediocrity over the course of a career.

In terms of spraying the ball all over the place, I think Andre Adams and Andy Blignaut are good candidates. Adams must be the only player I've seen manage two double bouncing deliveries in international matches in the course of one season, plus manage a beamer and a double bouncer in the course of one match.

I'm sorry to put gillespe in as i was just thinking of a bowler and my thoughts fell on Gillespe.
