To me its more a case of why are Pietersen and Hussey on this list? They COULD be great players but greatness is achieved over a long career Two of the ones you mention should be in instead of Pietersen and Hussey.

Ranking the 5, I'd go Richards, Bevan, Tendulkar, Hussey, Pietersen. There's a fair gap at this point in time between 3 and 4 though.

On current form I don't think anyone comes close. Magnificent in the field and averages 80 with the bat. Find someone with better statistics than him for this last year.

Yes i agree with you on tht but he isnt the best ever ODI player even though he is up there with the best ever at the moment.

Hussey has been playing cricket for years and years. Why do people get the idea that he is only 21 and has been playing first class cricket for a few months. He is more expirienced thatn half of the current Aussie ODI team.

You don't have to be experienced to be the best player at a particular time. It's nothing to do with all-time considerations.
