Who do you think will be a better bet as a test allrounder in future?

Well be fair to him - he might not be suited to the role the Australian's want from him, but Harvey's nowhere near good enough, and Symonds isn't a bowler.

International 12th Man
Shahid Afridi

Not sure if he's been mentioned yet.. Has better stats than Flintoff at test level. Bob Woolmer has really turned him around

Virat Kohli (c)
Consecutive half centuries for Pathan, and once again runs at crucial times. Can't bat eh? :)

Not bad for Irfan, and given his run of form, the Indian side should include a practising all-rounder as well in Tests as well as ODI's. Someone like Joginder Sharma or JP Yadav should make the side– now that's tremendous value addition to the side.

p.s. You can safely replace AA with VRV now.

Suggesting that Symonds, Harvey and Lee have more all-round ability than Watson is ridiculous.
I'd be tempted to say that Harvey had more all-round ability than Watson. He just didn't care enough.

At his old club side, used to get the nickname "Harvey-Norman", because there was no interest...
