Haven't heard anyone talking about Ashwin while discussing flight.

Same and he was also the best placer of the ball between fielders in shot selection.

However on pure timing I think Martyn and even Anwar is ahead IMO. Never seemed to put much efforts in shots.

I think there are actually statistics now on how much players swing the ball and how much turn spinners get. Not sure how to find it though.
