Who are England’s long-term all-rounder options after Stokes and Woakes?

Sam Curran has played Tests, but not for a while and not convincingly, though he is playing his first red ball game this season, is this with a view to getting back into the England Test team?
To be fair to SCurran, he has tended to play in the CC on the rare occasions when he has been available. Not that his returns against Lancashire were screaming out for him to be recalled if Woakes isn't fit.

I thought the last couple of years domestically and ipl stuff that Curran had been playing as a top order batsman? I can see a time post stokes where smith bats 6 and Curran 7 in tests.
This will only happen if smith averages late 30s or more.
It will also only happen if Curran's bowling looks like he deserves to be picked as England's 4th seamer.

Curran as 4th seamer is perfectly fine imo, the problem is when he is the 3rd seamer. I can't see his bowling really improving so the only way he can get in is to bat well

I like Bashir and he’s done fine so far this summer, but I was a little bit surprised that it was him and not Hartley who got the nod considering Hartley is a lefty. Maybe his batting is more of the level of a Graeme Swann than a genuine all-rounder though, so I don’t think that would play into the thinking too much
Hartley was good in his first test, pretty poor in the rest.
