Oh well, I guess it's back to TMS for us. Perhaps a blessing in disguise, they were great fun during the NZ tour. Still, it'd be nice if they covered someone other than England once in a while.
Their tour of the Windies will be shown in Students Unions and bars, they kick off at 2pm GMT. The India matches you can catch a bit of with your breakfast, typical playing hours are 5am-noon. So for an England supporter, not much will be missed. It's the Aussie-SA stuff we'll lose out on

Ah, for me, watching cricket on TV is a very unsociable activity, I can't stand it with other people around. Maybe that's why I like the middle of the night matches the most. When I'm at a game though, it's completely different, I find myself rarely following the action that closely at all.

Yeah generally the only people I like watching cricket with are CW people, which I do regularly these days. The nightclub experience was rather "different" though - after 10 or so drinks it's kinda inevitable.

Whatever it takes!!!
The pitch at Chepauk? One that offers a bit to the seamers at first, levels out, then breaks up for the spinners for days four and five? Those pitches are perfect provided neither team gets dismissed in the first session.
lol.. that is how it is, usually.. but this time it was as flat as a pancake.. There was some rain about the week before the game, and it almost never rains in March in Chennai.. So I guess we can cut him some slack but still, I felt that pitch was too flat to produce a result. Honestly, I think it was an IPL pitch... It didn't look like they cared abt this test too much :(

Meh, at least you guys can watch it. The Australian channel that the Irish pub gets was blocked about a month ago, so I can't even get highlights on the news, and my net's way too crappy to attempt anything illegal. Cricinfo and Youtube for me.
