Only "tall" bowler from Asia I could think of having smooth actions is Asif. Any one taller than him did not have smooth actions and broke down very quickly.

You were replying to a comment made by me replying to Thierry. The context was set by me and did not have anything about smooth actions. You deliberately misconstrued it just to say I was wrong.

I sort of group them together because they were both guys who looked very "plodding" on TV. It was apparent watching live that they were able to achieve their acceptable 130s pace pretty much via run up momentum plus long levers, so their actions didn't need to be particularly strenuous

Not sure what you are reading, but watch him bowl in the videos if you can. His balls skid a lot more because of his height more so than him making a conscious effort to have them skid on.
