Which pacers have the most and least efficient actions?

Not asking for aesthetics of an action, but looking at the pacers whose actions can be assessed based on repeatability, balance, use of energy, and prospects for getting injured.

In other words, if you had to pick an action for longevity, which one would you choose and most likely to avoid.

Short run up is great, but then lands somewhat awkwardly, almost like Imran did.
It's not, it's a part of the problem. His action wouldn't put as much stress on his body if he actually built momentum through his runup instead of exploding from 0 to 100 in the last few steps. Lengthening it would have naturally helped him avoid some of his injuries imo, would like to read justifications from the coaches why it didn't happen.

Vaas and Anderson for sure. So does Steyn

Walsh akward, but didn't he last?
Steyn broke down pretty bad late career though, not sure if because of his action. Maybe he put a lot of stress on the shoulder.

Anderson is superb and smooth.

Walsh's action was modelled on Holding, easy runup and delivery.

That is a good point. It didn't seem to bother Wasim though as he powered through the crease through a short run up. But his back was straighter than Bumrah's.

Most bowled in cricket. Anderson, McGrath, Walsh, Pollock, Broad, Vaas, Kapil and Ambrose

Only Broad looks extremely akward, but even he hs lasted.

knowing Indian coaches and the history of Munaf Patel and mrf pace academy they would justify it with just ‘because it worked!’
