SL domination? They have the worst win rate of the top 8.

Even if you only look at them in their peak, their winrate will be way below AUS and RSA, and comparable to PAK/India.

There was a 12 year period we were in top 3. Other than for AUS, WI and perhaps SAF no one had a record as such. One WC, one champions trophy and two WC finals. all within 15 years. If that is not a top class side I am not sure what it is.

India have their tournament performances at least matched, while being better in bilaterals (which is more relevant).

Pak was a major force in the 80s, 90s. Certainly in the 90s they could've won all three world cups. Should've done better in the 96 world cup with the team they had. It would've been an interesting semi final Pak Vs Sri l.

1987 too Pak was expected to make the final however Australia just had that extra juice in the semi final. One two Aussie players on the day made the difference.

Sri Lanka did have an amazing odi team from the mid 90s onwards which resulted in them being a major force in odis from that period onwards.

Pak won many tournaments in the 90s, early 00s such as the Austral-Asia cup, Sharjah cups etc. series in Aus early 00s, Carlton and United series 96. Asia cup.

I'm a hardcore India and England fan.
