yep im looking forward to ross taylor gettin some game time soon. i cant wait to see him bat in the big games coming up for the black caps. hes so good to watch. also hayden has been great to watch i must admit even though i dont really like the bloke.

I have always found myself a bit reluctant to place Ponting right up their with the real greats although I love watching him bat.

At this world cup (and for a couple of months earlier) I have been absolutely dazzeled by Pontings dominance and unbelievable mastery over all attacks. There is this 'zone' batsmen say they find themselves in. Ponting seems to have entered that zone in perpetuity.

I'm loving Boyd Rankin at the moment. Head and shoulders above any other seamer I've seen in a non-test nation.
