Which batsmen for these scenarios?

The reverse of the previous thread. Pick your choice batsmen to deal with these scenarios:

A) 15 runs required off the last over by Joel Garner

B) Need to bat the last over to save a test in Adelaide with McGrath bowling

C) Batting an entire last day to save a test in Mumbai against Ashwin and Jadeja

D) Coming in at 30/3 on a worn out Sydney wicket chasing 150 with Warne and MacGill bowling

E) Day one, session one and opening in Headingley with Anderson and Broad bowling in overcast conditions

F) 170/9 with a tailender and chasing 220 on a bouncy Perth wicket with Ambrose and Walsh bowling
A - Kohli, I know people have gone with more aggressive options here but I think they are far more likely to just get out, Kohli strikes a balance for me wherein he can actually manage to not get out against a quality bowler while still having the capability to punish a couple balls.

B - Pujara, has done similar stuff against Cummins, can probably do it against McGrath.

C. ABD, I give zero chances of anyone actually managing it but he has come the closest in a similar situation.

D. Sehwag, total is too low, he is gonna do a lot of damage before getting out.

E. Dravid, tough to say though, another situation where the chance of success is stupid low.

F. Bradman, really a cheat answer though because it's really the strength of the #11 who decides this, might as well go with the best batsman ever to try the other side.

Buttler - if Joel misses a yorker nobody better than Jos to punish him.

B) Need to bat the last over to save a test in Adelaide with McGrath bowling

Dravid

C) Batting an entire last day to save a test in Mumbai against Ashwin and Jadeja

Pietersen

D) Coming in at 30/3 on a worn out Sydney wicket chasing 150 with Warne and MacGill bowling

Viv

E) Day one, session one and opening in Headingley with Anderson and Broad bowling in overcast conditions

Smith

F) 170/9 with a tailender and chasing 220 on a bouncy Perth wicket with Ambrose and Walsh bowling

ABD
Obviously you could pick Bradman for every one but to change it up a bit I've gone for players I've seen play

C is clearly Gavaskar. He almost did that in Banglore. Smith is another option.

How are people picking ABD is beyond me?
De Villiers probably played more ridiculous 4th innings rearguards than anyone. Including one away in India where he batted longer than Gavaskar did in Bangalore, and he was actually facing Ashwin and Jadeja.

Neither of them were like Mohali/Bangalore/more spin friendly pitches that you seem to be setting up the scenario as. There are better spin players that would have a better chance vs Ashwin/Jadeja than him to be frank.

Younis Khan is a fair shout given his fourth innings record and competency against spin. Gavaskar and Amla too.

How is the universal answer for D anything other than Pant?
Arguably C too but no idea how that would go - forget saving he’ll probably end up winning the test.
