Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
My old man was a good enough batsman to be invited to play Minor Counties cricket (though sadly due to a need to earn a living he had to decline the offer) - he instilled my love of the game in me and I used to play whenever I could and when I couldn't play I would memorise huge tracts from Wisden - It didn't take too long to work out that not a single drop of his ability had been passed on but by then I was hooked and despite several bouts of therapy the addiction is as strong as ever

Earliest sporting memory

Was actually a tennis match in Wimbledon (or am horribly wrong) between a guy named Becker and another guy named Forget,

Earlier cricketing memory is the WC 1992, those colored kits excited me to follow it closely, and South Africa's performances come easily to the mind.
