SJS ! if you ask me then definitely I will go for "Afridi ,a captain" . Influential figure for the youngsters tbh .. I want him right there as a captain and trust me IMHO he is a good choice . Younis is crap tbh so is Yousaf. Yousaf has no influential personality at all . And make Razzaq his deputy . Thats it! problem solved and just let Yousaf and Younis ,concentrate on their batting ...

I think part of the reason he is such a wasted talent is due to Pakistan team management's failure to harness his talent.

I don't know what the management is suppose to do really.
What can you do to a guy who keeps finding ways to go out for millionth time by playing a stupid rash shot... he's played over 200 ODI's seriously he's senior enough to take responsibilty for himself. The guy's had too many chances and he's failed way too many times.

But they should always bring him back for india's matches thou, India seem to bring the best out of him whether thats with bat or ball.
If they get his head examined will they find anythign there ?

i would just drop him for a while...see if he can get himself sorted...but i doubt that would really work with a guy like afridi! In that case, i guess just drop him. However, pakistan don't really have any back up players to replace him do they?

Hafeez has done nothing to suggest he's capable of succeeding at ODI cricket. Play him a specialist spinner and move him up or down the order as necessary.

Are you sure? Hafeez looks our most solid option at the top of the order, at least he doesnt get out like an idiot EVERY game.
