I'm guessing you weren't even alive in the 70s so completely deriding Lillee is just stupid, Lillee was the best fast bowler of his era and would at least match all fast bowlers since

If Lillee was the best fast bowler of the era, then Jadeja is the best spinner of this era. We had this discussion many times, and it is very difficult to hide that Lillee was incompetent on slower wickets in Asia and West Indies.

Well, you might have had that discussion many times with many people. And may want to repeat it many more times in the future too. But it wont change the reality.

I remember you claiming Salim Malik was a better player of the West Indies pace battery than Allan Lamb based on batting average (with Lamb scoring 6 centuries and Malik scoring 1 against them). Obviously you didn't get to see Lillee. And you will choose to repeat whatever you've said here with some spreadsheets for support. I will file this Waqar > Lille opinion down the same Malik > Lamb versus Windies box and lock it up forever.
