BAS are the same bats as MRF's with diff stickers and cheaper.
That's true. The BAS Vampire Blaster is a great bat, pretty much the same as the Genius.

There are very few brands left that sell the ir own manufactured bats. Most of them buy them, a lot from India. Many of them buy from the same source and some many of them buy from more than one source.

Thus for those living in India its ideal to visit one of the bat manufacturers in Meerut, Jullunder, for example and pick up a bat. You will get a great price and a choice from thousands and if you are a regular as I used to be when I was in Delhi between 65-85, they will even get a willow you like and finish it for you. :)

That was great - visiting BD Mahajan or others and select a bat from the factory. It somehow made you more attached to your willow :)

SJS, I'll be having relatives purchasing a bat for me from a common sports shop in Delhi as they will be coming to visit in the summer. Since I can't really do all that someone living in India can (ie visiting bat factories), do you think the bats I listed above are reasonable and obtainable from a common sports shop?
