me actually playing on those grounds are blackmarks against it

it is against drummoyne too but drummoyne can get past it
Birchgrove would be the best ground in Sydney if they built a decent pavilion there. Plenty of shade and hills for spectators to watch, it’s a big ground, the deck is flat and the view is, well…

As for the thread, I've only been to Lords. Got the tour and then went back for the T20 game. It was the first match ever with the new flood lights being used. The picture I took is still up on Wikipedia last I checked. Think I might've even added the section that demanded the pic lol.

I’ve seen more games at the Gabba and the WACA than anywhere else even though they’re the furthest from me. Seen games at the SCG and Manuka.

Would like to go to Adelaide, Lords, Sabina Park, Cape Town, Scarborough and any number of the picturesque county or club grounds in England.

Bizarrely, I've even played on one of these grounds (Arundel). I would say that I can't see any new ones popping up, but then the RLC could create some - Sedbergh looked awesome.

Wanted to visit SCG before the pink theme in every New Year's test and the Adelaide Oval before getting a face-lift.

I loved the original "green-ness" of the SCG and the brown tiles of the Adelaide Oval roofs.

Swansea seems to have dropped off the rota for Glamorgan. I haven’t been for years however I heard that there were concerns with both the pitch (it took a lot of turn latterly and we can’t have that) and the condition of the infrastructure. Neath however has been revived in its place and is well worth a visit.

Kibworth got a Leicestershire match last year. I wasn’t able to go but hope it comes up again. Next year. A couple of years ago jt was announced that Hampshire were planning to play at the Winchester College ground for the first time since 1875. I have only seen it from across the river however the setting would be magnificent for a county match.

Other county venues that I would like to see revived are Abergavenny and Stowe School.
