What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of a test match?

I think stokes is poised to be lot better then flintoff but don't find him as exciting as freddie
Am sure there are a good number who feel the same at this point. Its probably coz of the X-factor that Freddie used to bring to the team and the fact that he was a bit more entertaining with both bat and ball.

Having said that Freddie had an average start to his international career and it only kicked off after what 3-4 years of mediocre displays? Stokes already seems like a vital cog in this English side and maybe somewhere down the line he would be just as entertaining as Freddie was, if not more.

Freddie had his series of glory, turning around a two decades Ashes drought. TBF on Stokes: He simply won't ever be in that situation.

I don't see how he is any less exciting than Freddie and this is coming from a huge fan of Freddie who has also been a big Stokes critic for a long time. At this stage in his career he is set up to eclipse Freddie by quite some way.

An England allrounder is defined by Ashes influences.......Stokes will need to pull a Beefy in '81 or Freddy in '05 before he gets the plaudits he deserves.

He is by far a better batsmen than Fred but a bit off in the bowling dept atm.......but I do think he will surpass him.

I don't know why i don't find him exciting, i don't have an answer. But I already said he's going to be lot better than Freddie.

Tbh, I'm not too fussed about how surprisingly unexciting Stokes may be if he keeps making big scores and taking wickets.

Whatever it takes!!!
Nah.. his batting style will always make him exciting, tbh. Funnily enough, I just think his biggest problem could be to let all this fanboying about him, get to him. He might just end up trying to be too much of a crowd pleaser as a batsman and go south. But he has all the skills to be the best since Kallis, tbh.. Forget Freddie.

When someone gets on a roll. Whether that's a bowler toying with a batsman and giving him an absolute going over for what seems like hours before finally getting him to tickle one to the keeper, or someone Broading it and wrecking a batting lineup.
