His test debut was amazing. Up until he hurt his elbow vs the Windies in Perth when he was fielding, he honestly looked a force of nature. He just rounded out the attack of McGrath, Gillespie amd Warne so well.

Have always loved watching Lee bowl with his smooth action, but in all honesty my favourite moment of his would have to be his efforts with the bat in the 2005 Ashes series. Batted really well and most importantly refused to give up despite wearing more than a few.

Loved his innings at Trent Bridge, think it was Boycott who was raging about England's bowlers not bowling at the stumps until someone produced a graphic which showed that every ball bowled to Brett Lee on the stumps had been smacked into the stands.

My favourite Brett Lee story is still to come, I gather he's bowling quicker then ever.
and as fit as ever as well.

One of mine was his 5 for 20 odd against the Poms in the VB series in 02/03. Nearly got a 6 fa if it weren't for Gilly running the batsman out.

Oh, and his massive 6 that went out of the Gabba and onto the practice nets.

My favourite Lee moments were watching him bowl against some Indian side in an emerging players type tournament in Los Angeles (?) before he made his debut. It was televised on AXN, I think, and he was great to watch with his run up, athletic action and follow up. I knew we were in for more trouble than usual when he was named in the Australian squad for our tour there in '99.

The bloke lost it somewhere in between. Looked destined to great things when he started.

My favourite Lee moment was definately his efforts in the last innings at Trent Bridge in 2005. He was bowling so fast, 97 mph one delivery iirc. When he castled Flintoff and then mocked him by imitating his stupid "Christ on the cross" celebration, my heart practically exploded. His batting throughout that series was pretty gutsy too.

My favourite would have benn his celebration after his 300th test wicket (GABBA '07). Went a little over the top, but thats why we loved him.

Do you think he'll make a comeback?????

Meanwhile, former spearhead Brett Lee says he has no plans to resurrect his Test career to provide some venom to Australia's ailing pace attack.

Lee, 34, announced his Test retirement in February.

He is the leading wicket-taker in the Ryobi Cup with 14 scalps from five matches at 18, including 5-47 against Western Australia a fortnight ago.

Lee played his last Test against South Africa two years ago and, with Glenn McGrath (563) and Dennis Lillee (355), is one of three Australian quicks to have taken 300-plus Test wickets.

"I certainly won't be putting the baggy green cap back on," Lee said.
