West Indies vs Pakistan in UAE 2016

the uae is a different beast when batting though, the surfaces are so slow and low they're not conducive to the windies LO batting at all lol, and kbrath is someone out of their lot who especially could succeed there, comparatively.

I understand the logic somewhat in the selection of Kraigg, but its 2016 and more often than not you need to offer more than these 2 filthy innings we have seen so far from him, I don't think the kid has it in him firstly to bang out against quality bowlers or even to bat at an acceptable anchor esque strike rate either.

His inclusion is even more baffling when you consider the inclusion of Bravo and Samuels, who are capable of providing the anchor innings and both who can be slow starters who really don't need Kraigg batting in the stone age when they come to the crease.

Top knock from Azam

I would like them to make some changes for the 3rd ODI - give U Akmal a game. Amir and Wahab need to be rested FFS and why bowl them when you have Sohail Khan waiting.

Darren Bravo looks like a batsman with so much ability. Really should be getting a lot more runs than he does. Look forward to seeing him in the test matches.

Windball cricket better organised than WICB ...says disturbed Dwayne Bravo

I was there in Dubai and basically the players were lost, the management team was lost, everything just looked like we were school kids again, and the team meetings had no sort of positive inputs or anything like that. It was like we were just there,” an obviously hurt Bravo stated.
“The honest truth is that it is very difficult for a bunch of 15 guys to really switch on when they are leaving for a series and the day of the team travelling they find out that their head coach (Phil Simmons) was fired. Like which organisation in the world would do things like that? This was a coach that had the support of the entire team and one of the best coaches we have had and he has done so much in a short period. Everyone knows that, and we were making positives,” stated Bravo.
This is exactly what I thought would happen. We're not as bad at Limited Overs cricket as we have looked on this tour. The WICB is an absolute stain on our cricket, they have the man management skills of a bull-elephant.

Yeah the WICB are complete arsonists. Just annihilating the game there seemingly because of special interest groups consolidating their power.

Yeah WICB is not a great organisation to work for but I wouldn't blame them entirely for the mess WI cricket is in. The players need to take some blame too. The likes of Gayle and Bravo (Dwayne) have clearly lost interest in much of international cricket. Blaming WICB for their lack of motivation isn't going to help.

What's the point of watching domination of the Windies when Voges isn't involved?

Azam's in some stupid form. Pity no one's watching.
He is an akmal we know how it ends with them they start with a bang and then suddenly they loose the plot and their personalty tends to get worse and worse till they are just **** cricketers with the most punchable face.

I don't remember the last time there was this much hype and so much expectations around a young batsman in Pakistan.. I have been hearing about this guy for over a year now.. I asked my dad when was the last time he remembered a young Pakistani batsman exciting everyone like this and his answer was Inzamam in 92. I won't say U Akmal here because while he was good, his hype started with his international debut. With Azam there has been talk about him in various quarters long before this series.

And it's not just him being an Akmal that should be worrying. Almost every Pakistani batsman with some potential in the last 10 years has disappointed. This piece sums up the caution every Pakistan fan is feeling
